Loch Village

Boon Wurrung Bunurong Country

This mural represents a journey through time – past and present, including the indigenous history to cultivate a sense of identity, pride and community for the Loch people. The history of rich characters is shown throughout the trunks of tall mountain ash eucalypts, rich with native animals, linked by graphic elements symbolising the giant South Gippsland earth worm, creating an exciting transition through Loch’s history.

A minimal colour palette of earth tones compliments the surrounding landscape.
